Attorney Kali Alexakos Attends AILA’s National Day of Action

Trees and street scene are visible in the background.Last week, Attorney Kali Alexakos joined the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA) in Washington D.C. for AILA’s National Day of Action. AILA’s goal was to emphasize one fundamental truth about our country – immigration is America’s foundation and America’s future. Kali teamed up with over 300 immigration lawyers to speak with Representatives, Senators, and their staff on the importance of necessary, efficient, and humane immigration reform. AILA emphasized the economic contributions of immigrants in the U.S., the need to prioritize a pathway to citizenship for DACA and TPS holders, the funding issues causing backlogs and delays at immigration agencies and courts, and the continued need for oversight agencies such as the CIS Ombudsman, the Office of Immigration and Detention Ombudsman, and the DHS Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.

Delgado Rompf Bruen LLC is proud to advocate for change for our clients and our communities by emphasizing the contributions of immigrants to the founding and future of the United States.
