Ms. Delgado represents clients in all types of family-based immigration matters, waivers, removal proceedings, naturalization, and appeals. She routinely represents clients before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the U.S. Department of State, and numerous U.S. consular posts worldwide.
Prior to co-founding Delgado Rompf Bruen LLC, Ms. Delgado spent several years with Chicago immigration law practices; as a former staff attorney with Mexican American Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF); and as an attorney for the Midwest Immigrant Rights Center, now known as the National Immigrant Justice Center, where she concentrated her practice on citizenship and naturalization issues and providing comprehensive trainings to various community-based organizations throughout the Chicago-land area. More recently, Ms. Delgado has worked with local organizations by providing immigration legal services to facilitate a successful transition for new immigrants to the U.S. As a mentor with the Colibri Fellowship, Ms. Delgado trains future non-attorney legal representatives to help strengthen community-based legal aid organizations. In 2024, Ms. Delgado was the recipient of the National Immigration Project’s Elisabeth S. “Lisa” Brodyaga Award.
